Fleeting moments. Forever documented.
"What is done in love is done well" - Vincent Van Gogh
I believe everyone has a story to tell. Your love is a story, no matter what it looks like, and it matters. You matter. I believe in investing in yourself and documenting your life. Life is precious, let’s document it!
The Girl Behind the Camera
I’m Shelbs! I have frizzy hair and I love golden light. I love people and dogs. A lot. So if you bring your dog to your photo-shoot I might cry. I love being able to run around with you and capture your story - because I am here for YOU. No matter what your story is - intimate wedding, elopement, traditional church wedding, or whatever it looks like for you, I am here to capture your day. I want you to look at your pictures and remember your day - how it happened.
My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Monnette Photography capture our wedding day! On top of being so talented, we could tell from the beginning that she has a passion for what she does and is super easy to get along with. I never felt like she was just a photographer that I hired, I would honestly consider her a friend with how kind and helpful she was! We are absolutely in love with our photos and would gladly use her again in the future for any other photography needs!
Shelby's passion for photography spills over into every photo of your special day or event. Her style is simple and elegant, yet beautiful. It perfectly captured every happy moment. She is not only a fabulous photographer, but has a kind heart, offering to help with our wedding in any way possible. She so graciously helped us write name cards the day before our wedding even! I would highly recommend her for any events or portraits you need.
Shelby is a wonderful and talented photographer! She makes you feel comfortable and like you are just spending time together. Even photos like wedding ones still feel super comfortable. Her photos come out looking beyond amazing! I couldn't ask for a better photographer to capture important times in my life.
